More Beth's Bits...

1.  God is a giver... not a taker.
2.  Laughter comes from God!
3.  He is my Portion... and I am His!

As a follower of Jesus Christ later in life, I mourn the wasted years.  Truth has a way of revealing messages tucked away so neatly that once unwrapped they bring either joy or sorrow.  Why didn't I dig deeper from the beginning of my walk for these treasure shells?  Why was I deaf to waves from The Deep?  Why was I blind to the kin of death and rebellion?  Were the errant internal messages of abandonment in childhood wound around my flesh so tightly that my only escape from the lies was through rebellion?

In her study "The Inheritance," Beth Moore states that God uses every experience in my life as a vehicle for ministry.

God is frugal... He wastes nothing.
God is extravagant... He gives with abandon.

Abba, Father, may:

I live from this day forward using the gifts and experiences You have entrusted to me.

I allow You to Redeem the wasted years.

the laughter You put within me be shared to uplift others.

Your portion fill me to overflowing and spill out onto others.

my faith and actions line up with Your will for my life.

it all be for Your Honor and Glory!
