Waiting and Watching till morning

Jesus met His Father in the garden.  Today I also met Him in nature.  Where did you meet with Him?

The trail is steady… covered with a canopy of trees where bobbin-length birds flutter one side to the other unraveling threads that bind the anxieties and worries surrounding my heart as I ride… experiencing the Peace of God… Presence of God… Holiness of God.

I went seeking… a worshipful heart... submissive heart… obedient heart… available heart.  Confusion turned inside out equals clarity but requires an open heart.

“Tired in the waiting” for answers to multiple unknowns,  I needed help.  Romans 8:26-27 (MSG) says:  “Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.”

Now to do my part…

I pray to God—my life a prayer— and wait for what he’ll say and do.  My life’s on the line before God, my Lord, waiting and watching till morning, waiting and watching till morning.”
Psalm 130: 5-6 (MSG)

And while I wait and watch… I must listen

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."            Isaiah 30:21 (NIV)

Hear me, Lord, I pray... with an open heart!
